I have always been captivated by the sky.
The moon, the stars, the sun — all of it. There is something about looking up that has always made me feel connected to something bigger than myself. I think of them almost like my power source in this world. My battery.
I love being somewhere open enough to really see the sky , especially out in the desert, where everything becomes still and the stars seem endless.
Over the years, that fascination naturally led me deeper into astrology, paying more attention to my chart, the planets and what might be happening in the sky at different moments in our lives.
Sometimes I go looking because I am trying to understand where I am emotionally, and somehow the stars can give language to something I was already feeling.
So when I started thinking about this new chapter and what I wanted the first collection to feel like, Celestial just made sense.
The stars. The moon. Dreaming. Femininity. Mystery.
Things that have found their way into the world of Zelie for She in one form or another for years.
Celestial also felt like the perfect way to explore how I want to create now. Smaller, limited releases that are allowed to have their own moment and their own story.
And, of course, I am a Virgo.
I originally wanted to launch Celestial during Virgo season, which is when i celebrate my birthday. Looked into my chart even more this time and I found out I'm a Virgo Stellium.
My Sun is in Virgo. My rising is Virgo. Venus is in Virgo. Mars is in Virgo.
The attention to detail. The refining. The need to keep working something until it finally feels right.
Maybe there was something a little too perfect about thinking I was going to get all of this finished during Virgo season.
And now here we are in Libra.
My Mercury is in Libra, which is the part of my chart connected to communication, thought and expression.
That has been especially interesting to me because so much of this new chapter is about finding my voice again.
Not just creating clothes, but writing again.
Sharing again.
Talking about where the ideas come from and letting this new journey become a little more intimate.
And right now Mercury is moving through Libra too.
Then, this weekend, we have a full moon.
It is one of those little moments that makes me look up and smile.
I had already chosen Celestial. I had already started creating this new world. And then I began paying attention to what was happening above me and finding these small connections along the way.
Maybe that is part of why this collection feels so right for this moment.
It gives me room to follow the seasons.
To pay attention.
To create something, let it have its moment, and see what comes next.
I don't know exactly where Celestial will take me yet.
And for once, I think I like that.
Welcome to Celestial.
